This blog’s purpose is the preparation and support of the conference “Virgins, Wives,  Mothers – National Personifications in Early Modern Europe” (29th to 31st March 2016) at the German Historical Institute Paris. It introduces the participants and their planned lectures. Moreover, both participants and interested non-participants shall be provided with an opportunity for exchange about the colloquium’s topic and the individual contributions.
